About this deal

Hideout (stylized in all caps) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masasumi Kakizaki. Overall it could be classed as cliche-ridden, as it borrows asinine plot frequently seen in Hollywood trash horrors, albeit that Japanese peculiarity to add dose of aberrancy really supplements the status of this piece to class it as a bit above mediocre or even unique for some aspects at least. Given that it's only 9 chapters, it does a pretty good job of making you feel involved and making you care about what goes on. The premise (the couple getting lost and stumbling into an utterly horrific experience) is executed well enough.

First, I aknowledge the manga is short therefore everything is going to be less developed such as the story, the characters, the creatures, the world buidling. It was serialized in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Weekly Big Comic Spirits in 2010, with its chapters collected in a single tankōbon volume. Everything is marvelously shaded, detailed, and bleak, which makes the gruesome content of Hideout so much more potent than it would be with only a "good" artist working on it, as opposed to an excellent one like in this manga. But this does not deter Seichi, it determined him, his decision is clear: Tonight, he will kill his wife. There are many reasons you should read Manga online, and if you are a fan of this unique storytelling style then learning about them is a must. That said, while the plot gets a thumbs up from me, the main thing Hideout has going for it is the art. Now the list of the negatives of the manga: the characters are really undeveloped, the ceatures/monster are undeveloped, the story is undeveloped and feels rushed (obivously). The day his editor put an end to their collaboration, darkness seeped into his life faster than a bullet.

On a supposedly idyllic vacation island, Seichi Kirishima and his wife Miki Kirishima are pinned down by a heavy rain somewhere in the island's interior. While there's nothing like actually holding a book in your hands, there's also no denying that the cost of those books can add up quickly.Ore Igai Dare mo Saishu Dekinai Sozai na no ni "Sozai Saishuritsu ga Hikui" to Pawahara suru Osananajimi Renkinjutsushi to Zetsuen shita Senzoku Madoushi, Henkyou no Machi de Slow Life wo Okuritai. Written and illustrated by Masasumi Kakizaki, Hideout was serialized in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Weekly Big Comic Spirits from June 14 to August 23, 2010.
