Tough Nut is a unique hazelnut liquor crafted from authentic high-proof Moonshine spirit fused with the flavour of hazelnuts , smooth caramel and velvety nougat complemented by a dash of barrel-aged whiskey. For those new to Moonshine: it was an illegal grain alcohol distilled during the era of the American Prohibition, bottled in traditional Mason Jars to avoid the suspicion of the authorities. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Although this liqueur is considerably weaker than historic moonshine, it's still presented in the rather wonderful traditional Mason jars.
