About this deal

But in my opinion you should get the Sabre 45 with side pouches or something similar and keep it packed ready to start for hiking and camping with a well selected standard 3 seasons equipment. This model is lightweight and very practical, because it has a lot of side pouches and pockets everywhere but also a large main compartment. This daysac has long been a favoured choice within the Military and is recommended by the Infantry Battle School at Brecon. My wife did her degree in Countryside and Land Management and has since been a ranger, she's got one of these daysacks, it's lasted since 2011, it does all that's been asked for it.

If this isn’t enough you can also attach more stuff at the compression straps on both sides and also at the loops on the well padded shoulder straps. The Berghaus Munro is ideal for military use or just when you're heading out to the hills and need an extremely strong and durable daysack. I also think that the Sabre 45 with side pouches is a very good option if you want to carry a complete equipment in normal British weather conditions. We would like to see it in another colour, the cedar green is fine, but black or even blue would be a great choice. I am unsure if that can be done with a 30 litres rucksack too if you don't spend a horrible amount of money into pretty weak equipment.A family run UK based tax paying business which has been supplying both the general public and servicemen and women with top quality outdoor gear for over 30 years.

Further the metal frame and the foam insert provide structure, that you barely can find in other lightweight backpacks. Design includes single zip pocket in lid, single main compartment with internal lightweight aluminium frame (for exceptional support), fully adjustable Multicam webbing waist belt, cushioned comfort back pad, webbing carry handle and external elastic attachment points. I'm looking for a bag that will work as a day to day bag for college/volunteering (and, eventually, work) and also walking trips and maybe short overnighters when I won't need a tent and lots of gear. g. water, warm layer, waterproof, lunch; and the Rush 24, where i have a few other niknaks that i want to carry as well -as its zip based set-up and multitude of pockets make sorting and finding stuff without emptying the bag every time much easier! Anyway, I hope I'm not boring you all with the same old same old, but I wonder if anyone had any input? The Berghaus Munro has one big ol’ compartment where you can stuff its 35 litre capacity to your heart content! But not only is the size variable, the Munro also gives you some more options to attach gear and adjust the bag to your needs. On the front, it has an elastic cord with pull stopper and ice pick holders for attaching additional equipment.

Still not too big as a daypack in daily life, but large enough to serve for a overnighter in usual British 3 seasons weather conditions. Packages to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and BFPO addresses are sent by First Class Royal Mail or International Parcel Force unless otherwise specified. Multiple views shown, single empty pack supplied, UK issue 2 pint bottle for scale only this is not included.

In terms of overnighters you'll be wanting a separate bag, if you have a big bag for day to day they have a habit of gathering kit to just fill the space. The true size, incidentally, is 52cm height 30cm width and 18cm depth, most airlines quote 55cm x 40cm x 20cm, so it falls well within the requirements. Thanks for the detailed response Erbswurst - I realise I make it sound a bit like I'm after the 'goldilocks' bag, but my main need is for the college course/volunteering/future work use - by 'walking trip' I just mean a dayhike and I concede that it might be ambitious for me to use a daypack for an overnighter. And although I don't own this rucksack I think that I can tell you which 3 season hiking equipment would fit in there, because my own rucksack also has 34 litres capacity.
