About this deal

Based on the Japanese sci-fi light novel All You Need Is Kill, the film takes place a dozen or two years in the future.

The better and arguably strongest improvement in this 4K HDR10 presentation is a more vibrant color palette, supplying a sumptuous array of primaries, particularly more energetic blues and deep, animated reds. Their only hope lies in the replay of time, their reliance on one another and the secret they discover in a stronghold deep behind enemy lines. It’s obviously disappointing that there’s nothing new added here, but not expected with the current slew of 4K re-releases. To be fair, the low-end on this 3D track is plenty powerful at providing the visuals with some wall-rattling, couch-shaking oomph, particularly during the beach siege and the attack at the Louvre.
