The smell isn't brilliant but then I don't want perfume in my cleanser. This balm is great value for money as I've tried other well known brands costing 4 times this amount and they don't work any better in my opinion.

However I bought the product again in January and started using it a couple of weeks ago, the texture of this tub is awful, lots of white gritty lumps that do not melt away when warmed in the hands and you need to be very careful not to get it into your eyes. I think another reviewer has mentioned the gritty lumps. Could M&S let me know if this is a new formulation or a faulty batch. Wouldn't buy again if it's a new formulation.
