About this deal

Overall, the shaving performance of the Series 6 was decent, but again, rather underwhelming for a shaver in this price range.

The new SmartCare center looks extremely similar to the Series 3 station and it feels like a downgrade from Braun’s previous stations. The Braun 6075cc is one of the Series 6 variations that come with an automatic cleaning & charging station. You absolutely don’t have to use the station after every shave. I tend to clean the razor in the station after 3 or 4 shaves and simply clean it manually in the meantime.

Other cc models that are shipped with the station include the 6090cc, 6072cc, or the 60-B7500cc (European model). Conclusion: I believe Braun Syncro 7680 was a beast in its days! extremely close shave, automatic clean and charge station, being able to shave corded and cordless, fully functional display.

The way I read the manual I would expect the cleaning indicator to come on when it needs cleaning and CC resets the timer. Also worth mentioning, if you’ll be using soap to clean your shaver, you will need to lubricate the blades manually as soap will remove any traces of lubricant. First of all, you constantly have to swap the cassette with it and that can be fiddly since there are no release tabs.I’ve been using this shaver since my first review. I can definitely give it a great score among all the other Braun shavers I’ve ever owned and used! The closeness that it delivers is quite identical to a Panasonic Lamdash! Being more precise, the closeness could be rated between Braun S7 and Panasonic Lamdash. Two days is my sweet spot when shaving with an electric shaver. Daily is not good because of irritation, and more than three days is too much growth for many, although some electric shavers handle heavier growth pretty well. First of all, there’s the fact I mentioned earlier in the review — you cannot just charge the shaver, you’ll have to go through a cleaning cycle as well.

And after using the Series 6 6075cc, I can confirm that it’s true, but there are a couple of important differences. The negatives; It is painfully obvious that this was designed to reducing manufacturing costs. and that this was one of the higher priorities. Again, it is still a good unit but of a far lower quality than the older models.

I have had three disturbing incidents (not during the timed tests) in the past two months. On two occasions, the razor would not turn on and there was no indication of a charge, despite the fact that I knew I should have fifteen or twenty minutes of charge left. I plugged it in for less than a minute and the razor then worked normally. Additionally, I received the expected remainder of charge which in both cases was indeed some fifteen or so minutes. A single drop of oil on each foil will suffice. Here’s a guide on how and when to do it. Replacement parts availability Overall, electric shavers offer a very different shaving experience for men, especially if they've only been used to wet shaves with a razor blade. For one thing, you don't have to push as hard with a foil shaver as you would when shaving manually. Our close electric shavers allow for a smooth finish with superb results. Just trim your beard with one of our great beard trimmers before shaving to help remove the excess facial hair from your face unless you have already shaved in the last few days. Mini Buying Guide The AutoSense technology that should adjust the power of the shaver automatically also doesn’t seem to be doing anything, at least I wasn’t able to detect any changes in the shaver’s behavior. The name Series 6 suggests that performance-wise, the shaver should sit right between the (old) Series 5 and Series 7.
