About this deal

I dislike having to cycle through the louder volumes to get to a quieter setting, but a thumb over the speaker shuts them up.

I bought another receiver and the additional alarm sync immediately but the 2 rod set ones dont sync with that receiver. I know defiant mps buzz bars used to have internal grub screws like you say dont know if they still do. Never understood why buzz bars aren't made with an internal grub screw/allen key adjustment to help line up alarms. I took the plunge and got some of these. One odd thing I have noticed is the sound on speaker of the alarm and receiver if you listen carefully with one beep you can hear it come on it sounds like a walkie talkie channel if you know what I mean? I bought a 2 alarm set recently. When I got to the Trent and put the batteries in, found the receiver volume did not work.

That's not the alarms fault though, user error surely as they must be set too sensitive for the conditions.

Wanted to buy the Nash S5R or R3 set first (have the Nash S5 atm), a youtuber said he rated Micron X higher than Sr5, will see next week. Has anyone else noticed a slight discoloration on the led's? Mine seem to have a slight dirty tiny to them, not seen it on other alarms before. Seek a set of these on tha Bank on the wind other day and they were none stop beeping even on the least sensitivity. Was very odd as you couldn't even see the indicator moving. Beep beep boop boop beep boop beep beep. I do really like them but I got to admit I was fishing Stafford moor beatties lake my mate was in the beach swim with the wind coming right across at him and his bobbin wasn’t moving but was constantly getting bleeps. How Should I determine if these alarms suitable for my fishing this way? fishing from lodge, or on an elevation? Functions all work well, only criticism are the tones, not brilliant, assuming the speaker is an area they saved money on. Two Ø5mm High Vis Multi coloured LED’s, Green, Blue, Red and Orange Colour selected by holding down volume button and pressing sensitivity button to change Complement your Fox Bite Alarms with a Fox Receiver System. I think it's just the plastic lens being a bit fish eye and distorting the colour slightly. Only really obvious on the low brightness setting when indoors and close up. I'm sure it will be just fine when on the bank. Really like the look of these. Has anyone gone from Nash r3’s to these and would recommend me doing the same? Cheers It's a load of ********,I have these alarms and so do 3 lads I fish with and never once had false bleeps.I have fished massive open windswept waters and the rx+ have been spot on. Limited Edition “Fox Camo” version of the Mini Micron X bite alarm. A modern re-worked version of the old school classic Mini Micron Bite Alarm boasting a number of great new features including receiver technology. Analitikai sütik Ezek az Ön tevékenységeinek nyomon követésére szolgálnak adatelemzés céljából, mint például a reklámozás hatékonyságának értékelése, személyre szabott tartalom felajánlása./span> I think it's fare enough, I recon most alarm manufacturers would say the same. The RX+'s are top of the range and price, so one would imagine a superior receiver strength compared to the mid range Mini Micron X, hence being more susceptible to vegetation, height, distance etc. I have been a Fox alarm user since the original MMXR's and would confidently use them, unless you are casting out then going home to wait for a bite, the receiver would be good in any sensible fishing situation. Only one way for you to find out if any alarm on the market meets your requirement is to buy a set and try Build quality wise seem decent, not amazing and definitely not in same league as the new Dells, but seem solid. Not as shiny as they looked in some pictures.

Carpology did a youtube video on these alarms on youtube, they mentioned all sorts of features, but not the range. I think this is one on the most relevant things to point out in a video, so the fact that they didn't show this in the video makes me think that it might be poor.... Reported to supplier but they seem to think it's not a problem. I also bought an additional alarm to make it a 3 rod set but the additional alarm would not sync with the volumeless receiver. MYSELF---The fox rx+ has a certified range in clear circumstances. There should also be one for this model. What is the certified range in clear circumstances?

FOX Mini Micron X

I'm probably missing something and these are the first new alarms I've had in ~20 years (replacing my old delkims) so have never seen this before. When I measure on my 3 rod bars, the gap between 1-2 and 2-3 is at best almost 1 cm out. When you have 3 rods out it drives me nuts as mismatch in gap is obvious. Looks like Fox do something with the settings for the sets which kind of makes them useless should you develop a fault.
