About this deal

Thoughts after the second wash: Even more in love with this! In the photo this is actually my hair BEFORE I started styling it (I was going out so wanted to curl it) and as you can see it again has that same freshly blow-dried look, except maybe it's a bit shinier than last time?

Hair routine: I wash it every 3-4 days with an anti-dandruff shampoo, then follow up with literally any conditioner, then with Aveda Damage Remedy Hair Repair before blow drying. Thoughts after second wash: I used it more sparingly and concentrated it on the ends more. The results were less slippery than the first time but I still wasn't into how it made my hair feel. verifyErrors }}{{ message }}{{ /verifyErrors }}{{

The verdict: Coco and Eve

Thoughts after first wash: It definitely left my curls noticeably shinier, but I’m mostly impressed with how much it cut down my overall routine. After using the mask I spent about 5 minutes finger detangling — it literally melted away my knots! Such a huge difference! I didn’t have to use as much of this as I do with my normal deep conditioner, and it gave my hair a really mild, pleasant scent.

Like other beauty products, we often choose shampoos and conditioners based on how pretty the bottle looks or what it claims to do, without paying enough attention to what the ingredients will do for your hair. Each shampoo and conditioner set will serve its own purpose, whether that is to hydrate, repair, smooth, encourage growth or help with colour maintenance. From supermarket staples, to luxury, professional hair care products, there are so many options out there that the market can seem overwhelming. I also tried the bond building pre-shampoo treatment and the Repair hair mask. Both have always left my hair feeling extremely soft, shiny and smooth. I've bleached my hair for the first time this year and been using both those products + Kerastase shampoo and all along been thinking 🤔 why do people say bleaching ruins your hair? Because it still feels super healthy few bleach sessions down the road... So I suppose Coco and Eve are doing something right?Thoughts after one wash: I was kinda sad because I had really high expectations following the opinions of some of my co-workers. It wasn't terrible but it just felt like a regular hair mask. My hair does look softer in the picture but in person it felt a little greasy... It did smell nice though, so I guess that's a plus! It was a little hard to wash out since it was quite slippery. I've only ever been super happy with the brand though. I've tried the face tanning mist, which leaves your face with a lovely glow and always look super natural, no matter how 'badly' you think you might've sprayed it on. Hair type: Fine and naturally on the straight side — even though it can get really frizzy at times. I've also dyed my hair several times throughout the past year so it's always a little dry and probably damaged.
