This is the reason why I believe most people will mistakelly add the 2016 Europe Repress to their collection, because of the lack of differences between these versions. I really don't understand why this RP sound very bad between the original press, yes you will have more content but the sound it's definitely under the original UE pressure that i have.

While "Off The Wall" and "Thriller" are pretty much timeless pop music, this album is VERY much a product of its time, to the point where a solid half of it is damn near impossible to listen to nowadays. there is some indescribible quality to the album as a whole that has me reaching for it far more often than Thriller. The 1987 release features different mixes for "Bad", "The Way You Make Me Feel", "Smooth Criminal" and "Dirty Diana".On my copy, the second record (Labeled Sides C and Side D) appears to be a tight fit, but the first and third records are unaffected. Certainly not some kind of tormented Garbo-esque recluse, the way he came off in "Leave Me Alone" (whether the intent was ironic or no). I Paid A Pretty Penny For This Original Red Vinyl 12" Of Bad And Wasn't At All Disappointed, It Sounds Fantastic And That Extended Mix Is Essential Listening. Finally, my third copy sounded very good, though side B has some inconsistent volume beginning with "Man In The Mirror".

There is a sense that he's trying very hard to impress on Bad where Off the Wall came naturally to him, and it's hard to know which side of that comparison to fall down on as far as picking favourites goes. Jackson's albums always had poor songs dotted throughout, but the standard here has definitely slipped from "The Girl is Mine" and "Girlfriend", even though nothing is as morally objectionable as the latter.By the time this record came out, though, I was at the perfect age for it: I had actually started listening to music, but I was as of yet unaware that there existed music that wasn't played on top 40 radio.
